SEO Analysis vs. SEO Marketing | The same thing?

These are two areas of SEO that look very similar, but no, SEO Analysis and SEO Marketing are not the same. The first has to do with implementation and management issues. The second has to do with strategy and planning. We explain what are the different ones and their most important points.

SEO Analysis

SEO Analysis is an area of digital marketing that aims to optimize websites and social media. It proposes and establishes technical improvements to make a site indexable in search engines. This also helps us to rank a website, make site improvements, find keywords, and even study our competition in digital media.

We can consider it a deeply technical craft, where specialists work with site codes, search for keywords, and manage audits.

Its main qualities are the following:

  • Performs a study of a website through SEO audits.
  • Serves keyword research and relevant optimizations.
  • It is possible to make improvements in the visible part of a website (On-Page SEO).
  • Makes non-visual technical improvements to improve performance (Off-Page SEO).

SEO Marketing

It is a campaign proposal model for digital marketing. SEO Marketing seeks to propose and execute SEO strategies for long-term projects.

It works with SEO Analysis to create a working model. While SEO Analysis is a stage of execution and optimization, SEO Marketing works as a planning, as a marketing campaign, but is entirely focused on SEO issues. In other words, it offers SEO Analysis as one of its many stages.

Its main qualities are the following:

  • Includes calendar planning of SEO implementations to meet objectives.
  • Provides working strategies for both websites and social networks.
  • Evaluate different insights such as CRO, PPC, and any metrics that arise from SEO.
  • Provides technical optimizations with On-Page & Off-Page SEO.
  • Periodic reports and campaign management.

Do we do both at RPB Marketing?

Yes, we offer SEO Marketing as one of our core services. We create a complete campaign that starts with an SEO audit. Then, we move on to the presentation of an SEO proposal. Subsequently, we proceed to the execution of the project. Finally, we follow up and manage the accounts to achieve the SEO objectives.

In the case of SEO Analysis, it is a service we offer. Before creating content or launching ads on social media, we carry out a small analysis of our client’s business, as well as a study of the market and the competition.
